CLOCKING INFORMATION

#2 Gauge Battery cables are extremely stiff.  On short cable runs of less than approximately two feet, it is necessary to ensure that the cable ends are “clocked” in the proper direction, as there isn’t enough flex in the cable to safely twist it into the desired orientation.  When we manufacture these cables, we will orient the two ends in any direction that you would like.

Please note the orientation of the top fitting.  The bottom will be “clocked” in reference to the top.  Imagine you are looking straight at the wire.  In the 12 o’clock position, both terminals will have the lugs on the bottom.  If you rotate it clockwise to 3 o’clock, the bottom lug will be on the left.  At 6 o clock, the assembly will be the opposite of the top one.  At 9 o’clock, the bottom lug will be facing the right, and at 12 o’clock, we are back to where we started.

Below are examples of the different options.
